New Board for Ministries and Missions
The new The Ministry & Mission Network is to call churches, Associations and the Conference to see “church” as a verb and to do church, to connect with each other in encouraging and supportive ways.
The vision of the new Ministries and Missions Network is
Mission statement: The Ministry & Mission Network is the link to connect key ministries and mission in and among congregations, and to create and support new ministries and mission as needs and hopes are expressed.
During the coming year local churches will be called to seek what are their ministries and missions that God is calling them to do. Your ministry maybe in creating inspired worship; or holding study classes in a local café; or tutoring youth. Your mission maybe partnering with other churches in working on a community wide problem. The Network can help - it can encourage, support and partner with churches. The Network will help make connections between churches engaged in similar ministries and missions. The linking of ministries and missions in churches may bring together those who are most passionate and committed to making a difference.
